This program program is intended to provide educational benefits to all participants about manufacturing. Any dispute that may arise out of or relate to this Release shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association\, at AMT or SUNY facilities in Broome County. Should any portion of this Release be deemed invalid or unenforceable under law\, that portion of the Release shall be considered void\, and the remainder of the Release enforced to the fullest extent of the law. \n1. Acknowledgement of Risks \nI acknowledge that AMT\, the College\, and the host manufacturers have taken reasonable precautions but cannot eliminate all risks of injury\, accident\, or unforeseen circumstances. I knowingly assume these risks\, on behalf of myself and my child\, my heirs and assigns\, and any related party who may bring suit based on an injury to myself or my child. \n2. Release of LiabilityIn consideration of participation\, I voluntarily agree to: \n\nRelease and hold harmless AMT\, the College\, the host manufacturers\, and their officers\, directors\, employees\, volunteers\, and agents from any and all liability\, claims\, demands\, or causes of action arising out of participation in this program\, including travel.\nAssume full responsibility for any injury\, accident\, illness\, or property damage that may occur during participation\, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.\n\n3. ComplianceI agree\, and will ensure that any children in my care agree\, to follow all safety instructions\, rules\, and directions provided by AMT\, the College\, and host manufacturers. DESCRIPTION:We invite our regional manufacturers to participate in a hands-on Manufacturing Day event for students ages 8–13 and their families. This interactive evening will introduce young people to the people\, products\, careers\, and companies that make manufacturing such an important part of our region. \nIf you or members of your team would like to volunteer for one of the activities or bring product examples for display\, please sign up below. \nOctober 8\, 2026 | 5:00–7:00 PM\nSUNY Broome Community College\nREGISTER NOWThe event will feature three activity areas:\n\n1. LEGO Factory Manufacturing Exercise\nStudents will move a LEGO product through a mini manufacturing process\, from customer order to final shipment. We are looking for volunteers to play different roles in the “LEGO factory\,” including customer service\, engineering\, purchasing\, scheduling\, kitting\, assembly\, quality\, shipping\, accounting\, and management. Volunteers will help students understand how each role connects to real-world manufacturing. \n2. Manufacturing Jobs Activity\nVolunteers will help students explore manufacturing careers through a fun\, interactive job-matching activity and share examples of the skills and jobs found in their own companies. \n3. Companies and Products in Our Region\nManufacturers are invited to bring product samples\, photos\, displays\, or examples of what they make.
